Grand Prix in Monte-Carlo

May 27, 2015

This is the second year I’ve gone to Monte-Carlo to watch the F1 Grand Prix and it just keeps getting better. Watching the race is so much fun and even though I’m not that into cars, I still really enjoy it.
Monaco is a wonderful place, so if you haven’t been you absolutely need to go (especially during the Grand Prix). The great thing about Monaco is that it’s on the Côte d’Azur, so it’s very beautiful and sunny, and is also very close to Cannes.
What I like best is the casual and relaxing atmosphere – it’s all about appreciating the race, relishing the champagne, meeting new people, and luxuriating in the sun. What better way to start the summer?

My style has always been changing, but I mainly like to keep it simple, comfortable, yet chic and sophisticated. So for the Grand Prix I really wanted to go for an easy-going and slightly minimalistic look, but still be a little dressy.

For this outfit I paired classic light beige pants with a striped cropped top and white pointed heels. I’ve really been liking these semi-baggy pants which allow me to move more freely (also perfect for plane rides and chilly days). Also, I could have just worn a white loose shirt, but I opted for something with a bit more geometry. As for the heels, I have a preference for short and pointed because I feel like you can wear them with anything and they can be both formal and casual.

Hope to see you all at the Grand Prix 2016!
