Spice up your outfit with a statement mini skirt for the spring/summer. If it isn’t warm enough, do it anyway by topping it off with a cozy sweater and a semi-long coat. Wrap it up, buckle it, add fringe to it, whatever you want. But go on, show off those legs.
“Enjoying life’s simple pleasures”. It’s all you have to do when it’s cold outside or you don’t necessarily feel like leaving the house. Spending time with friends by the fireside, reading a book, laying and rolling in bed for a while, taking a bath. Nothing beats those cozy moments when you don’t only feel warm on the outside, but also on the inside. Cherish and treasure them, let it ignite and cuddle your soul.
This place is one of the loveliest secret hideouts in Paris. The cult brand Sézane is known for its clothing and accessories online but they also have a store where it was born. A trip to Paris only to visit the store might be a little excessive but if you happen to be in the city then do pay a visit to Sézane’s Appartement, Librairie, and Denim Atelier. They’re all situated on the same block so you can hop from one to the other. Currently the Appartement is under renovation but it will be open once again in April 2017. Still, the Librairie would have to be my favorite out of all three because you are free to sit down, grab a coffee (on them!), read, and look through their adorable bags and stationary. You are free to spend as much time there as you want, luckily, because it’s just so welcoming and snug that you may never want to leave.
The first signs of spring are starting to show in Paris, which is wonderful because the flowers are blooming and the climate is warmer. Everyone finally gets out of hibernation mode to enjoy the streaks of sunshine and to soak up that Vitamin D that one desperately needs after winter. The thing about spring is that it gets tricky trying to figure out what to wear because the mornings tend to be cold whereas the afternoons are warmer. It’s that hesitation between either wearing a summer jacket or a winter coat, yet by the end of the day one always seems to take their extra layer off just to feel what it’s like to be in a shirt again.
When people think of Spain, they don’t immediately think of Andalusia. This region is a hidden treasure that should be appreciated as much as Barcelona or Madrid. There’s a lot to visit when it comes to Andalusia, so make sure to reserve a week in your calendar in order to explore it all. The best way to get the most out of Andalusia is to do a road trip by car, that way you can hit the biggest towns like Sevilla, Córdoba, Granada, and Marbella. The main attractions in this region are its architecture and monuments – they are rich in remarkable intricate detailing stemming from Arabic influences.
