France has many wonders that constantly brings in tourists from all over the world. Paris may be the first city you think of when you picture France, along with all its famous landmarks, but it’s not the only area worth visiting. This country is filled with so much history, varying types of nature, and an admirable culture. Every region has its specialty and one can see the differences when crossing from one province to the other, which shows the vastness and diversification of heritage.
Spice up your outfit with a statement mini skirt for the spring/summer. If it isn’t warm enough, do it anyway by topping it off with a cozy sweater and a semi-long coat. Wrap it up, buckle it, add fringe to it, whatever you want. But go on, show off those legs.
This place is one of the loveliest secret hideouts in Paris. The cult brand Sézane is known for its clothing and accessories online but they also have a store where it was born. A trip to Paris only to visit the store might be a little excessive but if you happen to be in the city then do pay a visit to Sézane’s Appartement, Librairie, and Denim Atelier. They’re all situated on the same block so you can hop from one to the other. Currently the Appartement is under renovation but it will be open once again in April 2017. Still, the Librairie would have to be my favorite out of all three because you are free to sit down, grab a coffee (on them!), read, and look through their adorable bags and stationary. You are free to spend as much time there as you want, luckily, because it’s just so welcoming and snug that you may never want to leave.
When people think of Spain, they don’t immediately think of Andalusia. This region is a hidden treasure that should be appreciated as much as Barcelona or Madrid. There’s a lot to visit when it comes to Andalusia, so make sure to reserve a week in your calendar in order to explore it all. The best way to get the most out of Andalusia is to do a road trip by car, that way you can hit the biggest towns like Sevilla, Córdoba, Granada, and Marbella. The main attractions in this region are its architecture and monuments – they are rich in remarkable intricate detailing stemming from Arabic influences.
There are things that can’t be imitated or reproduced the same way old things were. There’s so much history to be found behind an ‘antique’ creation, sometimes the past of it can’t be retraced, which makes it all the more special. It leaves a lot to imagination – who wore this item before me? Who adopted it as their own? The story could be decoded in a million ways, but you will never really know unless you have a sort of testimony. Most importantly though, is the emotion and feeling of the product that has been carried along with its story.
