Personally, walking aimlessly (wherever that may be) is the best way to get your inspiration flowing and finding a certain kind of freedom that you don’t get when you have a set destination. It’s a liberating thing that you should take advantage of. It’s all about not carrying a map and not worrying where you might end up, it’s going down streets that you’ve never noticed before, it’s about enjoying every detail that you don’t usually perceive.
This is the second year I’ve gone to Monte-Carlo to watch the F1 Grand Prix and it just keeps getting better. Watching the race is so much fun and even though I’m not that into cars, I still really enjoy it.
Monaco is a wonderful place, so if you haven’t been you absolutely need to go (especially during the Grand Prix). The great thing about Monaco is that it’s on the Côte d’Azur, so it’s very beautiful and sunny, and is also very close to Cannes.
What I like best is the casual and relaxing atmosphere – it’s all about appreciating the race, relishing the champagne, meeting new people, and luxuriating in the sun. What better way to start the summer?
